Hi Amy- I have just finished Omega Park and enjoyed it heaps- of course there are people and places I remember - or at least bits of people and places. While the book is clearly not autobiographical I know all too well how much of it comes from personal experience. I am really proud of you, and I am sure that your Dad would be too- and Rebekah also, who thought of you as daughter.
I have given a copy to a young woman Aboriginal singer/songwriter who lives in Bridgewater- the main housing commission area of Hobart- for inspiration with her songwriting. I look forward to your next book!

I am so happy that your book is out there in the world and that I was able to witness your transition to publication. Omega Park is such a beautiful and haunting story and I know it will be a great success.

Thank you Amy for such a memorable story. I have just finished reading your book (in record time) and found it mesmerising. The characters were endearing in a dysfunctional sort of way, and I found myself wanting more after I had finished. It has been a long long time since I have been so engrossed in a book, so thank you for giving me my passion for reading back. Cant wait for more!
